The work of three local artists will be on display and available for sale.
Anthe Capitan-Valais has been the recipient of numerous awards for her printmaking, oil painting and iconography. She studied at the Cleveland Institute of Fine Arts and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Barbara Bartlett also studied at PAFA and has exhibited there and at Woodmere Art Museum, the Philadelphia Sketch Club and other venues. She won the PAFA 1996 Sylvia G. Wexler Memorial Prize.
Alex Forbes is a graduate of Twickenham Art College, near London. He has worked as an illustrator and graphic artist for the BBC. A resident of Oreland, many of Alex' watercolors are of the Wissahickon Valley and Chestnut Hill. He teaches painting at the Center for Enrichment.
